John Dix’s article “A New Pot’s Story” in the November issue of Ceramics Monthly.
(I have been helping John since 2007).
The story documents the difficulties and rewards of an anagama wood-fired kiln looking at one pot. John mentions me heroically saving the piece as we struggled to pull it from the kiln, burning my hand in the process.
A group of friends working in the television industry got togethr and started this video side project about “interesting” people living in Japan. While video podcasts like Cool Hunting focus on the art world We All Japan interviews people from all walks of life. I was the first interview for their video series.

In 1998 Jimmy Kuehnle and I started the Tom Thumb Art Gallery on our college campus. A student-run independent venue where all submissions are accepted. Participants are encouraged to experiment with non-traditional media in a no holds barred art extravaganza.
The gallery now is in its 11th year.
