the earthquakes, tsunami and nuclear disaster of the last few weeks have been overwhelming. the earthquake caused no major damage in my area but the last week of constant tremors, blackouts, lack of gasoline and the fear of the ever worsening nuclear reactors in fukushima, have disrupted life in nearly half the country.
