i worked on a friend's farm this week up in the mountains. an hour from here by car at an elevation of 1000 meters it was actually a place i had ridden my bicycle before but didnt know my neighbor owned the land until today. i took a photo but it doesnt really give the view justice. the surronding mountains were incredible. you could see about 50 km in every direction. maybe there isnt really any running water, tv or cell phone reception, but an amazing view. im definitely going back when the weather warms up.

the farm is near the road marked 192 in the upper left hand corner and I live on the right hand side of the map near Kamikawa
