the landscape assemblage drawings are still moving along nicely. I have several new ones, and have expanded my set of bamboo pens. Some of the new pens are bigger around than my arm. good times.


The only trouble is the weather. my studio might have interesting framing revealed in the ceiling, but without heat or insulation it has become a physical struggle to get anything done. somehow I always manage to block from memory exactly how cold the Japanese winter gets inside. this week I went to take a shower in the morning and the bathtub was filled with ice.
maybe ill sleep in the kiln tonight.
