Saw some good exhibitions in tokyo this weekend.
Fumio Ohashi's Exhibition at the Inax showroom in Ginza was definitely worth checking out. Its a video installation that incorperates thousands of dandelion seed balls and videos of intricate paper dolls tied to plants moving in the wind. In the center of the room there is a video of a paper doll house with a bee hive inside. there arent any videos of his work on the internet. The show is up through the 28th.

Also saw a ceramics exhibition of Shiro Tsujimra's at Ippodo Gallery. The show is already closed. I've seen a few of his pieces before and was really excited when I happened to come across the exhibition. He was there for the closing so I waited for 15 minutes to talk to him. I tried to talk to him about his work but whatever i said didnt impress him, and he told me (and everyone else in the gallery) that I didnt know anything then kind of laughed at me and walked away. I crossed my name off the guest list when i left. still like his pots though.
